UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR AWARDS

Underwater Photographer of the Year (UPY) is a competition totally dedicated to underwater photography. While the concept was originally conceived by Bernard Eaton, organizer of the first Brighton Underwater Film Festival, in 1965, and it led to the foundation of the British Society of Underwater Photographers in 1967, UPY launched in 2016 as an international underwater photography, based in the UK.

Over 2500 images were entered from over 40 different countries. You can see all winning entries here.
