Camping is a beautiful thing… mostly because it brings you close to nature. You get the joys of living in the wild -- fresh air, glorious landscapes, connecting to life in a way that is no longer a typical way of life. But many people shy away because of logistical issues, lack of creature comforts, and a hassle factor.

Two tent companies, Lotus Belle and Tentsile, created innovative tents that solve the problems and break down the barriers so that camping becomes even more accessible -- and they do it beautifully.

Each tent offers a unique glamping experience, each with its own kind of luxury and style. Check them out below. And enjoy some autumn camping in a whole new beautiful way.

These canvas tents are large enough to fit real queen-sized bedroom furniture! You can really stretch out -- you could even hold a party inside -- yet it all folds up to a tiny portable package. The 13-foot wide Lotus Belle fit inside one regular duffle bag, while the 16-foot wide version fits in just 2 bags, so it’s quick and easy to pack up and transport.

You can also choose to leave the Lotus Belle set up in place for up to 6 months without a problem, almost like a permanent yurt.

Lotus Belle was co-founded by Harriet Seddon and Jessica Walsh. Seddon grew up in camping enthusiast family in southwestern England, and conceived the design for the Lotus Belle tent at age 19, during her first year of design school. Walsh discovered Seddon and her cool new tent at an outdoor festival and knew that together they could.

The tent is waterproof. Its floor is made out of the same material used to make kayaks. Ten supporting poles and multiple guy ropes keep the Lotus Belle from flying off in strong winds. The flue hole enables you to put a wood stove or air conditioner inside.

Tentsile Tree Tents were conceived as portable treehouses. They give you a chance to experience nature at a whole new level of freedom and comfort.

The tents are suspended, hanging from wide straps that you wrap around trees in the forest. Inside, you get a whole different perspective on your surroundings. And it’s super stable, so no worries.

You also get a smooth comfortable base to sleep upon since you don’t have to deal with wet, lumpy ground. Common camping backaches won’t plague you at all. You’re also spared visits from ground creepers and crawler, as an added bonus!
