There are big beautiful reasons to love teeny tiny quail eggs. At first blush, they’re gorgeous -- with their delicate little speckled shells and their dainty fairy-sized yolks and white. But dive deeper and tuck into quail eggs because they happen to be packed with nutritional punch to help endow you with a more beautiful body and mind!

Quail eggs are superior to chicken eggs due to their higher nutrient concentrations -- they have a higher yolk-to-white ratio, as well as higher levels of key minerals, fatty acids, and antioxidants.

Studies indicating important health benefits of quail eggs show their abilities to help improve vision, boost energy levels, stimulate cellular growth and repair, boost metabolism, reduce blood pressure, alleviate allergies, and prevent chronic diseases.

Although quail are quite commonly found in  Europe, North Africa, North America, and Asia, their eggs are most commonly eaten in Japan, where they can be found atop sushi, in bento boxes, in street food snacks, or on breakfast plates. Now, quail eggs are more available in Western markets.

Quail eggs can help give you a more beautiful heart. HDL (“good” cholesterol) makes up more than 60% of the fat in quail eggs. The relatively high level of beneficial fatty acids found in quail eggs helps to offset the negative effects of LDL (“bad” cholesterol)
