Still from Virtual Reality film Collisions

COLLISIONS

Journey with director Lynette Wallworth, in her new VR live-action/documentary, Collisions, as she travels through a remote desert in western Australia to hang out with Nyarri Morgan, leader of the indigenous Martu tribe. She’s interested in the “collision” between his ancient way of life and his encounters with modern technology.

Wallworth is currently presenting Collisions at the 2016 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Wallworth created another amazing film experience that we totally fell in love with called Coral: Rekindling Venus, that is really worth seeking out, if you can.

Still from Virtual Reality film Nomads: Maasai

NOMADS: MAASAI

Nomads: Maasai, a new VR experience, created by Felix Lajeunesse and Paul Raphael, is the latest episode of the powerful, live-action ethnographic series, Nomads.

Live among the Maasai tribe, in the village of Enkutoto, Kenya. You watch a way of life unfold, as men hunt with spears and women build mud houses, carry water, and create amazing beaded artwork.

NOMADS: SEA GYPSIES

In this second episode of the powerful, live-action ethnographic series, Nomads: Sea Gypsies, viewers share the Bajau tribe's nomadic existence on crammed houseboats that sway to the motion of river waters. Watch as the families travel with fellow boat-dwelling relatives, always sharing a communal spirit.

Still from Virtual Reality film theBlu: Encounter

theBLU: ENCOUNTER

Swim with an 80-foot blue whale, as together you explore the beauty of life under the sea. theBlu: Encounter, a new animated VR Experience, directed by Ben Vance and Jake Rowell, is super-realistic, designed as a collection of memories. It’s awesome.
