If you’re idea of a beautiful vacation includes a glorious golf course, we’ve got some that belong on your travel bucket list.
We set out to create a curated-for-beauty collection of 10 most beautiful list of golf courses around the world. From old favorites to more obscure jewels, these courses are so magnificent, even non-golfers have reasons to love them -- and for golf aficionados, they are patches of heaven on earth.

Sand Hollow Resort, in southern Utah, is punctuated by a naturally sculpted red rock landscape, with dramatic outcroppings, natural sand bunkers, and flaming canyons, fringed with natural desert flora.
Designed by John Fought, this championship course follows dramatic changes in elevation, across a towering ridgeline. Golf Week Magazine ranked Sand Hollow high on its “Best Courses” list. It won Utah’s “Best Public Course” award multiple times.

The course at Long Thanh Golf Resort has been voted the most beautiful course in Vietnam, and one of the most beautiful in Asia. Blessed with a stunning tropical landscape and spectacular panoramic views, it is surrounded by branches of the Dong Nai River, which adds a cool, fresh climate to the visual feast.
Ron Fream designed this course, as it meanders through rows of palm trees, around tranquil pools and lakes, past tumbling falls, with vivid fairway greens, surrounded by even more spectacular natural scenery.
You can play 18 holes on the Hilly Course and/or 18 holes on the Lake Course. The latter offers nighttime golf -- a beautiful way to spend a cool lushly green evening.

Carved into the northeast coast of Tasmania, Barnbougle Golf Links offers two amazing golf courses. With its unspoiled wilderness and cool climate, its idyllic setting is reminiscent of Scotland, with its own wild flair.
The landscape is breathtaking. Look around and see pristine beaches edging ripples of rolling farmlands, while you listen to the ever-present sound of the crashing surf.

Designed by John Harris, the T Poniente Golf Club is one of the oldest and most respected in Mallorca. Situated between beautiful hills and natural valleys, this course boasts wide fairways and large greens, with loads of bunkers.
The 18-hole course winds past 7 lakes, through stands of majestic pines and offers fabulous views, particularly at the 8th and 11th holes.

The Clearwater Bay Golf Club & Country Club is built on a fish hook-shaped peninsula that extends into Clearwater Bay in Hong Kong. This spectacular piece of land offers astonishing views along the rocky, craggy coastline.
Recently redesigned, by Peter Thomson, Tim Lobb and Ross Perrett, the two courses at Clearwater Bay are more beautiful than ever. Nine holes are played on high ground, with gorgeous views of Hong Kong’s coastline. Another 9 holes are played below, close to the sea.

The Seven Canyons Golf Club, at Enchantment Resort, in Sedona, Arizona, rambles through astonishing red rock canyons, offering stunning views from every hole.
Tom Weiskopf designed this secluded championship course with classic features set off against the surreal landscape. It sits high at an elevation of 4,600’ embellished by mature evergreen trees and natural water features.

Le Touessrok sits on its own private island off the east coast of Mauritius. Accessible only by boat or helicopter, this award-winning course is surrounded by a shimmering turquoise lagoon. Designed by Bernhard Langer, it offers magnificent views of the Indian Ocean from every hole.
Black volcanic rock outcroppings, exotic flora and fauna contrast with white sand bunkers, water features, and vibrant green grass. It’s no wonder this course has been ranked as one of the best golf courses by Golf International, Golf World Magazine, and Golf Journal.

The Constance Lémuria Golf Course, in the Seychelles, is a work of landscape art, with its perfectly terraced greens and panoramic views of 3 unspoiled beaches.
The 70-par course, was designed by Rodney Wright and Marc Antoine Farry, with the 1st 12 holes running through a shaded palm grove, and the rest traversing thickly wooded hills.

Two of the most beautiful walking golf courses are found at Streamsong, near Tampa, FL. Designed by golf architects Bill Coore, Ben Crenshaw, and Tom Doak these courses were built by the Mosaic Company on land recovered from a former phosphate mine.
Undulating sand dunes rise from the former rubble, while fairways stretch out emphatically across a variety of natural and manmade land contours.

Perched along the rugged cliffs of Scotland’s east coast, the Old Course at St. Andrews, in Fife, Scotland, is one of the oldest golf courses in the world. Golf has been played at St. Andrews for over 600 years on its large double greens.

Loaded with ancient charm, the 15th century buildings and stone walls make these links unique. The beautiful 700-year old Swilcan Bridge, spanning the 1st & 18th holes, has become a famous landmark.
The Old Course at St. Andrews is held in trust by the St. Andrews Links Trust under an act of Parliament. It is open to public play.
