3. IMPORTANT 1930’S PATEK PHILIPPE POCKET WATCH
This 1930s Patek Philippe pocket watch, originally retailed by Tiffany & Co, was once carried by the owner of the Chicago White Sox, J. Louis Comiskey. The unsigned platinum case, 40mm in diameter, is an Art Deco delight. Diamonds and rubies circle the outside and tiny diamond studs circle the inside edge of the numberless white face.

Delicate arabesques and scrolls form the skeleton case backing, exposing the inside working details. And the movements are signed by Patek Philippe and Tiffany & Co.

This watch comes directly from the Comiskey family, pioneers in the game of baseball, founding American League members, and founders and owners of the Chicago White Sox. It was purchased by J. Louis Comiskey in the 1930s, while he was owner of the White Sox. After his untimely death, at age 54, in 1939, the watch has remained in the family until now.

5. ROGER DUBUIS WHITE GOLD SQUARE WRISTWATCH
The blue Mother of Pearl dial, with its large Arabic numeral is a dream. It sits beneath a sapphire crystal, as if reflecting the sky above.

6. IKEPOD HHTK01 KAWS HORIZON LIMITED EDITION
Street artist KAWS designed the dial, with his trademark chomper teeth and his graphic “X” as hands, and Marc Newson designed the rest.

The watch features a 44mm titanium case, beautifully brushed bezel, and a sapphire crystal. It has a self-winding Swiss Caliber ETA 2892 mechanical movement. It is water Resistant to 50m. And it sports a rubber strap.

7. ORA UNICA
The Ora Unica has squiggly lines instead of hands, with one end marking the hours and the other the minutes. Ora Unica is designed by Italian designer Denis Guidone and manufactured by Italian brand NAVA.

8. CHARLOTTE VAN DER WAAL WORLD TIME CLOCK
Charlotte van der Waal's World Time Clock, made in 1999, is a perfect gift for your world traveler friend. It is a genius of a design, using a 12-sided clock case to tell time in all 24 time zones with a simple rotation of the clock.
The designer was motivated by the need to know what her travelling son was up to at any given time of the day.
The clock sports a solid satin stainless steel barrel case, etched with an international city name for each of the 24 zones. The timepiece is Seiko. It was made in the Netherlands for Studio TRV.

9. THE C3H5N3O9 EXPERIMENT ZR012
Last year the teams behind two small high-end Swiss watch brands, MB&F and Urwerk, collaborated on a new project called C3H5N3O9, the molecular name for nitroglycerin.

Their first product, the very limited edition ZR012 watch has a movement inspired by the principles of the Wankel rotary engine. Only 24 pieces were made. You can order one from C3H5N3O9.
