WILDAID PASSION FOR GALAPAGOS
Passion can save the world. If you have passion for wild beauty, if you care deeply about our natural world, and if you long for your next thrill of adventure, WildAid Passion for Galapagos belongs on your bucket list.
The Galapagos Islands form one of the most important archipelagos in the world when it comes to wildlife and natural ecosystems. Home to nearly 3,000 marine species, many which are found nowhere else on earth, the wild beauty here is unparalleled. And WildAid Passion, is a truly unique way to experience it.
The Galapagos Islands are a priceless UNESCO World Heritage.
WildAid Passion is not just an exceptional luxury cruise across the Galapagos archipelago, it is literally a life-saver.
Angermeyer Cruises / Andando Tours and WildAid have joined forces to protect the Galapagos ecosystem with the creation of the Galapagos Conservation Fund. Your cruise aboard the WildAid Passion helps to protect protect this unique place and all that lives there.
Every Passion cruise will contribute to WildAid’s projects in the Galapagos marine environment. In particular, its focus is on combating illegal fishing and preventing the introduction of invasive species.
WildAid integrates electronic surveillance technology to monitor the reserve, trains park rangers annually underwrites critical operational expenses and works with the government to enact the stronger fishing regulations.
Invasive species pose the greatest threat to biodiversity in the Galapagos Islands. The Galapagos Biosecurity Agency partners with WildAid to provide comprehensive training and tools to prevent their introduction, including educational outreach, and enact effective quarantine measures once introduced.
You’ll do good and feel good while you’re doing it. While other luxury Galapagos cruise operators carry up to 40+ passengers on yachts the same size, Passion accommodates only 12. In addition to the plush Master and VIP suites, there are 4 luxe staterooms.
With one staff member per guest, service is truly personal. A certified naturalist guide on board will catch you up on the archipelago’s extraordinary ecosystems.
Previously a private family luxury yacht, the Passion was never before used for tourism. It is 159 ft. long, with 4 decks. That’s a lot of space for just a dozen passengers.
The yacht has been completely refurbished, while retaining original teak wood decks and Italian marble bathrooms. It has been adapted to cruise in Galapagos National Park.
Amenities on board WildAid’s Passion include a panoramic sky lounge with wet bar on the bridge deck, a sun deck with Jacuzzi tub, two heads in both the VIP and master suite, kayaks, wetsuits, and massages upon request.
The Passion Galapagos Cruise donates $100 per passenger to the Galapagos Conservation Fund. And it donates 100% of the proceeds from a single one-week cruise to the GCF every year.
Book your WildAid Passion cruise here. Or, if you’re not up for cruising just yet, you can stoke your passion by making a tax-deductible contribution to the Galapagos Conservation Fund so this beautiful place stays beautiful.
