Because of its remote and isolated location, recycling is essential. Soneva Fushi manages this in an especially beautiful way. It crushes all of its used glass, melts it down in their state-of-the-art glass furnace.

Then, using a variety of techniques, such as blowing, casting, and slumping, they create unique signature collections of plates, bowls, and glasses for their restaurants and boutiques. They even offer Glass Blowing Courses for guests.
