WHY LOVE IS AWESOME. REALLY.

We think we know what love has to do with sex, but we know they are not always correlated. We have conflicting evolutionary needs for both prolific procreation and pairing, but what does awe have to do with love?

Being “in awe” is part of being “in love.” It makes our hearts race. It inspires passion, loyalty, and respect. It’s what captivates us. It motivates us. But why?

Because it make us better human beings. It expands our brains. It extends our reach. When we are exposed to something awesome, our brains are faced with the challenge of having to consider something way bigger than it has considered before. We need to think differently to absorb awesomeness.
