AVENTABOAT: LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR POWER BOAT 3000HP

If you love the car, you’ll go nuts over this custom yellow Lamborghini Aventador-inspired speedboat!

Gino Gargiulo, a member from Luxury4play, recently acquired one of the very exclusive special edition Lamborghini Aventador LP720 Anniversary Roadsters. He then recreated many of its design features in the form of a 48 ft MTI G6 powerboat, built by Marine Technology.

The “AventaBOAT” is sheer Yellow awesomeness -- done in the bright Giallo Maggio, a special shade only available on the 50th Anniversary edition of the V12 Lamborghini flagship model! We’d love an invitation to take a Beautiful Yellow ride!

LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR LP 720-4 50TH ANNIVERSARY

This Beautiful Yellow speed demon was made to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Lamborghini.

The Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50° Anniversario has gotten a few upgrades over previous models: larger front air intakes and aerodynamic splitter, completely new rear end, and expansive meshwork that further improves engine-compartment ventilation, among others.

This model touts a 720 hp and a 6.5-liter twelve-cylinder, making it more powerful than the current V12 in the Aventador LP 700-4.

The Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50° Anniversario is a limited and numbered series of 200 units worldwide. Yellow has been Lamborghini’s most popular color.

YELLOW LOTUS ELISE 20th ANNIVERSARY EDITION

One car that really rocks Beautiful Yellow is the Lotus Elise. The Lotus Elise 20th Anniversary Edition, recently presented might be the last one of its kind. It is their lightest, fastest, and arguably coolest car.

Because it is so light, and because it runs on a Toyota engine that delivers a sports car performance with the Prius-like efficiency the Elise gets about 40 mpg.

And with 217 HP and 184 lb ft of torque, the Lotus Elise 20th Anniversary Edition can speed to 62 m.p.h. in just 4.6 seconds. While its top speed of about 145 m.p.h. isn’t breaking any records, it makes for a nice little taste of yellow lightning for a casual Sunday dash.

FRAZER-NASH & ITALDESIGN GIUGIARO NAMIR

British exotic car-maker Frazer-Nash no longer builds their own cars, but they have recently developed new hybrid drive systems for other sports car makers. Their systems now help to move the new Italdesign Giugiaro extreme concept car called Namir.

It uses an 814cc rotary engine which drives a generator which, in turn, charges a 400V lithium battery pack that feeds electrons to electric motors at each axle.

Watch this yellow beauty zoom from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of over 300 km/h, making it the fastest hybrid car in the world. Some feat on its own… even more amazing with 91.7 mpg.

THE CREST

We found a simple pleasure, painted yellow, and melted at the joy of it. This Women’s Cruiser Bike sports a unique double bar frame combined with the classic chrome headlight. It’s a custom bike from Colorado Bikes. And it’s sweet!

BIKE RESCUE PROJECT

Last summer, the Bike Rescue Project, based in York, England, first donated 100 bikes to be painted yellow and put on display around the area’s historic streets. This year the bikes were donated to local area small businesses and shops to put on display.

RIVER OF FLOWERS

River of Flowers, a nonprofit eco-social enterprise, based in York, focuses on planting wildflowers and indigenous plants in and around the city, along bike paths and other conduits. In the spirit of the yellow-jerseyed riders of the Tours de France, they lined the paths with yellow wildflowers.

UNTITLED (YELLOW, ORANGE, YELLOW, LIGHT ORANGE)

Mark Rothko’s iconic Untitled (Yellow, Orange, Yellow, Light Orange), painted in 1955, just recently sold at auction for a megawatt golden $36.5 million. The painting was one of two Rothkos that fetched stellar sums at Sotheby’s auction of Listerine, Dentyne, and Schick heiress, Rachel “Bunny” Mellon’s estate.

Bunny Mellon was a noted horticulturist and widow of philanthropist and Pittsburgh industrialist Paul Mellon. She died last year, at age 103, at her Virginia estate.

WOLFGANG LAIB -- YELLOW POLLEN FIELDS

Wolfgang Laib Makes Art With Yellow Pollen Fields.

German conceptual artist Wolfgang Laib creates Beautiful Yellow installations made entirely of pollen.

In his work, entitled “Pollen from Hazelnut,” Laib worked with pollen that he collected from the area around his studio over the course of 23 years. He sifted and arranged millions of the tiny golden grains into a saturated rectangular field on the floor of the gallery.
