STUDENTS BLOSSOM AT FLOWERSCHOOL NEW YORK
It’s hard to enjoy yourself in New York City in February. The days are short and dark, the gutters filled with dirty slush, and spring seems like it’s a lifetime away. BeautifulNow has the cure for your wintertime blues: the FlowerSchool New York. Brighten your day and immerse yourself one of the master classes at FSNY to learn the poetic art of flower arranging.
Friend of Martha Stewart, florist Oscar Mora, will be guiding a four-hour workshop focusing on large restaurant arrangements on Friday March 15th. Master floral designer Ariella Chezar will teach a special, full-day event which begins at the floral wholesale market for a crash course on selecting the perfect supplies, and then moves on to the FSNY studio to craft modern, romantic bridal bouquets on Thursday, March 21st. We’re particularly intrigued by designer Cal Cray’s Bodega Flowers Workshop on Thursday, February 21st which promises to whip inexpensive bodega flowers into sexy, glamorous arrangements. Bonus: A map of all the best flower stands in New York City will be included.
