BEAUTIFUL RECIPES FULL OF BEAUTIFUL PRIDE NOW
Today we are celebrating Beautiful Pride and Joy of baking, with gorgeous prize-winning recipes that are now on our top fave list. Check them out below.
1. LEMON MERINGUE
Ohhhhh... this cake makes us swoon. Apparently it did the same for members of the Food52 Community, who voted it as a winner in their “Your Best Recipe with Egg Whites” Recipe Contest.
While we normally think of pie when we think of lemon meringue, this is not that. Lemon Meringue, by heinstirred, is a cake is filled with bits of pistachio, tart lemon curd, luscious whipped cream, and white chocolate. Toast the pride you will feel once you get it onto your plates with some brut champagne -- it pairs well!

2. UPSIDE-DOWN APPLE PECAN PIE
Upside-Down Apple Pecan Pie, by Liene, of Femme au Foyer, borrowed from a prize-winning recipe in “Blue Ribbon Baking From a Redneck Kitchen,” by Francine Bryson. This pride and joy is part tart tatin, part pecan pie --- and it is brilliant. It’s a must try for this coming Thanksgiving!

3. CARAMEL APPLE PIE
A fall fave, caramel apples meet pie in this gorgeous recipe by Anita Newell of Groveton, NH. Her Caramel Apple Pie won first place prize at the Lancaster, NH fair. It’s picture perfect, it’s taste perfect, it’s absolutely perfect!

4. BLUEBERRY CRUMB PIE
Connie Gilbert, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, has a lot to be proud of. Her Blueberry Crumb Pie won the Blue Ribbon at the 2015 Blueberry Festival. Juicy, tender, bursting with blueberry joy, this pie is one to dream about.

5. RASPBERRY WHITE CHOCOLATE STREUSEL COFFEE CAKE
Kathleen A. Janke, of Gracehill B&B, is beaming with beautiful pride. Her Raspberry White Chocolate Streusel Coffee Cake was the Blue Ribbon Winner at the Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Center Blue Ribbon County Fair. No wonder! Tender, fragrant, and simple, this cake is now at the top of our Sunday morning bucket list.
