LEMON SOPRANO
This beautiful new lemon liqueur has rock star roots and a beautiful ancient soul.
Matteo Morse spent 30 years as a musician and music producer before he created Lemon Soprano using his grandmother’s recipe. For generations, the family made their lemon cream digestif out of their own home grown lemons.
If you drink Lemon Soprano chilled and straight, you’ll get a velvety creamy lemon meringue-y caress, with lemon peel accents. It’s been called the Italian answer to Bailey’s Irish Cream.
This beautiful pale yellow elixir won Gold Medal at the Spirits of the Americas Competition Judges called it, “charming and refreshing."
One lazy Sunday morning, we conjured some Lemon Soprano brunch cocktails and they made us smile. Try them below.

Her recipe is wonderful. We prefer to leave out the honey, so it is less sweet. Whichever way you prefer, it’s a beautiful way to enjoy beautiful yellow. Perfect for Cinco de Mayo, coming up soon!

LEMON & ROSEWATER SPONGE CAKE
Here is a positively beautiful light lemon cake that gets a floral lift from rosewater. It’s so fragrant as well. It’s perfect for a springtime celebration of Beautiful Yellow!
Stephanie Henricks, of The Dessert Spoon, created this Lemon & Rosewater Sponge Cake recipe as a light alternative to chocolate “overload” -- not that we can even imagine what that might be ;). She uses edible dried roses to decorate. But we can see this prettified even more with some fresh unsprayed yellow rose petals.
