NEW VICTORY KEEPS LIFE BEAUTIFUL NOW
Great news! One of the most beautiful places in the world will NOT have a highway running through the middle of it any time soon!
The Serengeti ecosystem, that extends from Tanzania to Kenya was just saved from a disastrous plan. Road development was planned to connect settlements to the west and east of the Serengeti as well as to service established gold mines on the west and soda ash mining on Lake Natron to the east.
Thankfully, the road was ruled to be unlawful. Big victory.
But there is still pressure for more development. Here are just a few of the millions of reasons to push back now:
