GORGEOUS PREHISTORIC DRIPS AND CREATURES ALIVE AND WELL
The most beautiful places in the world are often the hardest to see. Carved by time and the Pivka River, Solvenia’s Postonja cave is a hidden wonder and a goosebump-inducing vacation highlight. Over 31 million visitors have been dazzled by the calcite formations, stalactites, and stalagmites that decorate the underground natural palace. The cave is also home to the strange and beautiful olm, the largest troglodytic amphibian in the world.
