Founded by Dan Pauly, an artisan builder, The Rustic Way offers custom built enchanted cabins to give you a beautiful magical space to enjoy.

Styles of Building include Sauna’s, Guest Cottages, Garden Sheds, Playhouses, & Bathrooms.

Each structure is a unique masterpiece made from reclaimed wood from barns and other buildings over 100 years old using old-world techniques handed down from four generations of woodworking artisans.

These charming asymmetrical structures are built with meticulous attention to detail. Each structure comes with a:

Signature long, slanted roof
Crooked Chimney
Charming front window built-in flower box
Functional windows & doors
Cedar Shake roof
Electricity & plumbing

Pauly’s woodworking history goes back four generations, back to the 1800s when his family emigrated to the US and built several barns in Minnesota (some of which are still standing).

He builds each cottage out of reclaimed wood. In fact, it could be the same lumber that his great-grandfather used more than 100 years ago.
