STUNNING SNOW ART MADE BY ONE MAN’S FOOTPRINTS
The next time you awake to a snowy landscape outside your window, think of Simon Beck. An artist based French Alps, he looks out at a white covered hill and sees an empty canvas, ready to come alive. Using little more than a compass, snowshoes, his own footprints and dedicated concentration, Beck draws stunning geometric patterns for all to behold. This piece, above, was completed on December 30, 2012 and took just under nine hours to create. Though it’s technically comprised of millions of snowflakes, it reminds us of another one of nature’s perfections -- the shell of sand dollar.
